I know someone will love my post for today! Wooot! Gotcha! It’s his favourite dish that’s why I’m so excited to post my recipe for this day… it’s the” CHICKEN ADOBO”. Everybody loves and knows this dish but Filipinos have different ways and procedures on how they prepare and cook this adobo. It can be pork adobo, chicken adobo, liver of the chicken etc etc…It also depends on you if you want it to be fried or have it with sauce. One thing that my mom told me when I first cooked this dish is that I have to put a lot of onions to make it yummier! It’s my mom’s secret and because I want to make your adobo perfect for your family I told you our little secret! Ahaha! You should try it now! Wooot!

Here are the ingredients in cooking “CHICKEN ADOBO”:

  • chicken, cut up
  • soy sauce
  • vinegar
  • peppercorns (crushed)
  • garlic
  • onions
  • bay leaves

Procedures:

  • Chop the onion and garlic
  • Get out your soy sauce and vinegar.
  • Add the soy sauce and vinegar to our chicken. Go ahead and toss in those onions and garlic, too.
  • Next step is to take out your ground peppercorns, and bay leaves.
  • add peppercorns and bay leaves to the pot
  • Mix it all up very well. Let it boil and simmer for about 40 minutes
  • Adobo is done when the chicken is cooked and tender.
