Last week the company where I work at held its annual physical examination (APE for short) to all its employees.  So just like all my co-employees I take the line for the examination.  There is the  x-ray for the lungs, blood pressure, weight, height,  blood extraction, urine  test, doctor’s examination (including some private parts ahahah).   I did not a personal stool ready so I just skipped that part for I have released it that morning before I left the house.  Then there is the eye test.

I know for that fact since last year that I am color blind even though I usually pick the colors for our house and amenities designs at the office.  Well, maybe that is an advantage, imperfection are always good to look at.  Moving forward, I have 20/20 vision as result of the test but when they showed me those circle with different colors in it, I did not see that there are actually numbers shown at the center of those circles.

Last year they said, there is no remedy for that and that I should be happy because others could not really distinguished colors in reality like the only hues they can see is black and white while the brother of a colleague cannot distinguished if it is already green or red in a traffic stop light. He just have to memorized the location of go, ready and stop to know the status of it.

This year they have shown me on how to remedy my being color blind and that is by wearing an eye glasses with a red lens.  I have tried wearing the red lens and now I can read the numbers on those circle objects shown on me.  Now I have asked them if where could I get those lenses so I could use them when I needed them.

Wearing a red eye glasses would certainly look silly but matching them with beautiful and elegant  glasses frames will certainly make it fashionable.  Well, I guess I do not care if it is fashionable or not as long as it will help my being color blind.   The examiners told me that they will call me for the details of those lens.  Well I hope that lens would help me.  If there is only a food in the kitchen  that could help my being color blind would be more fun.  Eating is fun.
